I made an 'e' yesterday, with elephant ears and a trunk-type bottom bit. Not sure whether it will work. Lyddie's not interested in letter sounds at the moment anyway. Her thing right now is 'let's pretend'. "You be the next door neighbour and I be the mummy and Tom and Ali and Zara be my children and you come and visit us and have a sleepover!" is what we played all yesterday afternoon. I was made a pretend dinner and even a pretend birthday cake, the candles of which I had to blow out after being sung to. Even the dog had a pretend birthday cake, though she didn't take too kindly to all the blowing and got a bit snappy.
